Weaverville UMC’s United Methodist Men find spiritual growth and Christian fellowship in fulfilling our church’s mission of “Serving God by Serving Others.” Some of our long history of service to Church and Community include:
- Ministering to the men at Craggy Correctional Facility through the Kairos Prison Ministry,
- Building storage and shelving for the Weaverville B.E.A.R. Closet,
- Maintaining yards for church members unable to do so,
- Building handicap ramps for community members,
- Serving lunch for the families that attended our Vacation Bible School.
Our monthly meetings are cleverly disguised with hearty breakfasts of eggs, grits, bacon/sausage, biscuits and gravy, and of course, plenty of coffee!
