UMC Women

“. . . to know God and experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ; to develop a creative, supportive fellowship; to expand concepts of mission through participation in the global ministries of the church.”

Weaverville United Methodist Women’s group has three circles —

Minevia Brittain Circle which meets the second Wednesday of each month
Matilda Dryman Circle which meets the third Tuesday of each month, and
Grace Waugh Circle which meets the third Thursday of each month except during the months of June, July & August.

Our local mission projects include financial help to institutions serving children and youth, visitation, food and help with any other need that arises.

Our global mission projects include pledge money that goes through our district on to the conference and the world, food, health kits, school kits, flood buckets and baby kits to be distributed where needed.

United Methodist Women are enthusiastic, godly women who get things done!
